A leading Investment Bank is seeking a 1LOD Risk and Controls specialist in London to support governance of risk and controls in the Derivatives team. Ideal candidates will have experience in Risk & Controls functions, and excellent stakeholder communication skills, and knowledge of derivatives is a plus.

My client, a leading Investment Bank, is seeking a 1LOD Risk and Controls specialist to support risk/control owners and senior management within the Derivatives team. This role enables robust governance of risk and controls through key risk indicators, key control indicators, risk ratings, control ratings, issues, and events.

• Experience working within a 1st line Risk & Controls function
• Supportive experience with front office environments (Sales & Trading)
• Knowledge of Derivatives is advantageous but not essential
• Understanding of market-standard risk assessment, mitigation, and control design
• Familiarity with relevant regulation and regulatory expectations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
