Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking a Risk & Controls Contractor in London with a hybrid work pattern (2 days per week in the office) for a 6-month contract.

You will test controls within the Finance function, identify weaknesses and drive remediation, while contributing to incident management, third-party risk and ongoing enhancements to the risk and controls framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Risk & Controls, Operational Risk, Internal Audit or Risk Advisory role within financial services.
• Hands-on experience of controls testing and remediation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A practical, collaborative approach to improving controls and governance.

Barclay Simpson is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Risk & Controls Contractor.

Working within the First Line of Defence, you’ll support the Finance function by testing key controls, identifying control weaknesses and driving remediation activities. You’ll also contribute to incident management, third-party risk and the ongoing enhancement of the organisation’s risk and control framework.
