Job Opportunity

Delivers concise and accurate risk control services to clients in assigned territory to assist in the control and prevention of losses. Provides technical advice and account information to underwriting business partners for risk assessment and analysis.

We are looking for someone based in the South/South West of England.

What Will You Do?
  • Conduct risk control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors to be considered in underwriting/risk selection.
  • Write detailed reports providing a clear assessment of risk and recommendations.
  • Consult with clients on hazard control to reduce or prevent losses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with underwriting teams, brokers, claims, and clients.
  • Research for underwriters or clients on technical subjects.
  • Analyze loss trends and identify opportunities for risk control products/services.
  • Stay updated on regulatory environment and safety issues.
  • Operate according to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining client/broker materials and deliver training/presentations.
  • Negotiate with authorities regarding loss control management for compliance.
  • Promote Travelers products and philosophy through client visits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Responsible for adhering to company conduct, policies, and delivering high-quality service.
  • Handle complaints per guidelines and authority levels.
  • Ensure compliance with FSA, financial regulations, and SOX.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and develop strong relationships with brokers and customers.
  • Communicate actions and their impacts effectively.
  • Follow environmental policies and keep transaction records.
  • Seek continuous improvement personally and professionally.
Must Have
  • Experience in safety, risk control, or related fields such as construction, manufacturing, military, or a relevant degree.
  • Ability to attain legal certifications if required.
