Job summary

The University of Strathclyde’s Directorate of Safety, Wellbeing and Resilience seeks an experienced administrator to support the Risk and Business Continuity frameworks. You’ll respond to first line enquiries, use IT systems for efficient operations, and help develop documentation, training and exercises across the University.

The role requires calm under pressure, initiative with limited supervision, and strong verbal and written communication to build relationships across the institution.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum HNC/HND level in a relevant discipline or significant relevant experience.
• Strong administration background with a high level of IT competency including SharePoint and MS Office.
• Experience in Higher Education or large complex organisations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the programme of work to develop, maintain and implement Risk and Business Continuity frameworks.
• Respond to first line enquiries and provide initial advice in a professional manner.
• Utilise IT systems to support the operation of the Risk and Resilience function.
• Develop documentation, training and exercises for implementation across the University.
