Overview
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced NEBOSH health and safety professional to join our team as a Risk Consultant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering a comprehensive range of health and safety and risk management consultancy services to our valued clients.
As a Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance and advice to clients
- Conducting thorough risk assessments
- Formulating efficient risk management strategies
- Developing and delivering training events on health and safety and risk management practices
Key Responsibilities
- Provide health and safety/risk management consultancy services to clients
- Act as the primary consultant for a designated portfolio of clients
- Promote and deliver Risk Consulting services to existing clients
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and produce written reports with recommendations
- Develop and deliver training events on health and safety/risk management practices
- Analyze claims data and generate analytical reports for clients
- Assist in crafting guidance materials for clients
- Maintain client management and reporting systems
- Support the health and safety of company employees
Qualifications and Skills
- NEBOSH / IOSH Qualification (or equivalent)
- Detailed knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with legal liability principles and insurance principles
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong analytical and report writing abilities
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to new information
- Effective time management and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a Health and Safety professional (preferably in consultancy)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
