Job summary

Engine by Starling is seeking a skilled Risk & Compliance professional to join our Hybrid team. You will help ensure we operate within the Risk Framework, maintain certifications, and support compliance with UK and client jurisdictions.

Working with InfoSec and Legal colleagues, you’ll identify risks, maintain governance registers, and guide risk management across Engine’s SaaS products to protect clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Understanding of operational risk, compliance and due diligence.
• Ability to identify, assess and mitigate risk.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience working with risk, compliance, InfoSec or Legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks to the organisation.
• Assist with risk assessments, maintain risk registers and actions.
• Prepare management information for committees and boards.
• Conduct horizon scanning and escalate issues as needed.
• Support client due diligence and KYB documentation.
• Monitor compliance training and maintain registers.
• Collaborate with departments to support risk management.
