We are seeking an immediately available Compliance Officer for a brilliant 12-month opportunity within a progressive organisation experiencing continued success!

This role will be responsible for monitoring, providing compliance support, and advising the business on a wide range of compliance matters.

The successful candidate will report to the Compliance Manager and assist with the implementation and embedding of our client's Risk and Compliance framework.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Compliance Manager in ensuring that our client meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Providing regulatory advice and guidance on compliance topics, including Consumer Duty, credit broking requirements within the Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC), and Data Protection.
• Producing written reports on monitoring outcomes, review findings, and action plans.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, detailed technical knowledge of FCA Handbooks (including CONC, DISP, PRIN, and SYSC), and familiarity with legislative frameworks such as AML and Data Protection. Previous experience in a compliance or risk department of an FCA-regulated company, preferably within the motor industry, is required. The candidate should also understand FCA expectations regarding customer outcomes and the treatment of vulnerable customers.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role is inside IR35, with a day rate of up to £600. You will enjoy a 35-hour work week and a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 WFH).
