We’re working exclusively with a highly respected London-based law firm to appoint a Risk & Compliance Manager who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm’s reputation, ensuring regulatory excellence, and embedding a culture of integrity across the practice.

The Role

As Risk & Compliance Manager you’ll work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders. You’ll lead on all aspects of regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and governance, ensuring the firm remains fully aligned with SRA standards and wider legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee compliance with SRA regulations, AML requirements, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.

- Manage internal audits, risk assessments, and policy development.

- Act as the firm’s primary contact for regulatory bodies and external advisors.

- Provide training and guidance to fee earners and support staff on compliance matters.

- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on firm operations.

About You

You’re a trusted advisor with a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset. You understand the nuances of legal compliance and can confidently navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

You’ll bring:

- Proven experience in risk and compliance within a law firm or legal services environment.

- Strong working knowledge of SRA Code of Conduct, AML, GDPR, and professional standards.
