Job Description:

We are working with a leading Silver Circle law firm to hire a Risk & Compliance Assistant in London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the firm’s Risk Management function, helping ensure regulatory compliance and high professional standards across the business.

The firm is looking for an organised and driven individual. You must have a strong academic background with a law degree (2:1 or above) and ideally some experience within risk, compliance, or a legal environment.

The responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Worldcheck searches, sanctions checks and adverse media screening
• Assisting with setting up and maintaining information barriers
• Supporting ongoing monitoring of clients, matters and screening alerts
• Handling matter maintenance tasks, such as client and matter updates
• Organising client due diligence folders and assisting with reporting data entry
• Maintaining and improving team resources, such as intranet content
• Providing general support and responding to ad hoc team queries
• Managing the inbox and prioritising requests

They are looking for candidates with clear and confident communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
