Job summary

Actus Search is supporting a leading UK Financial Services organisation in appointing a Head of Risk & Compliance Advisory. The role will head a team of 5 Risk & Compliance Business Partners, acting as a key 2nd Line partner and advising across operational, commercial, technology and regulatory risk.

You will work with senior leadership, provide risk insight into governance forums and drive a high performing advisory function with a focus on risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 Risk & Compliance Business Partners.
• Act as a key 2nd Line partner to the business.
• Provide advice and challenge across operational, commercial, technology and regulatory risk.
• Lead the advisory team, leaning heavily on stakeholder management.
• Ensure it is a high performing team.
• Apply a sound understanding of Risk & Compliance, with a focus on the risk side.
• Work closely with senior leadership.
• Provide risk insight into key governance forums.
