Risk Assessor – Home based Thames Valley

We are working with a leading property company with an impressive multi-billion-pound residential private leasehold portfolio across the UK. They are currently looking for a Fire and Health & Safety Risk Assessor to join their rapidly growing team and oversee their portfolio in the Thames Valley / M4 corridor.

Remuneration:

£35,000 - £40,000 + benefits package + bonus.

This is a home-based role.

The Role:

The Fire and Health & Safety Risk Assessor will join a growing team and undertake site-based internal and external common parts risk assessments across their residential portfolio along the M4 corridor. The portfolio consists of private leasehold blocks, and the Risk Assessor will report into the Property Management team for this area.

The initial focus will be on Type 1 fire risk assessments and report writing using Safety Culture software, assisting property teams with remedial work schedules. The role is home-based with expected site visits 3–4 times per week. The company offers training to develop skills for Type 2 & Type 4 EWS surveys and further fire & H&S qualifications.

Requirements:

• Experience in conducting Fire and H&S Risk Assessments within residential blocks.
• Good knowledge of fire and H&S legislation and technical standards.
• Strong communication and report writing skills, with good organizational ability for home-based work.
• Clean UK driving license and willingness to travel.
