Job summary

Dilligent, a FinTech leader in Leicester, is seeking a Risk and Governance Manager to maintain and operate the company's risk management framework, enforce governance, and sustain regulatory compliance across the business.

You will monitor risk indicators, manage the risk register and action logs, coordinate policy reviews, support FCA compliance and Consumer Duty, oversee incidents and remediation, and work with senior management to elevate material risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor risk indicators and facilitate risk assessments.
• Manage the risk register and action logs.
• Identify emerging risks and elevate material risks to Senior Management.
• Coordinate governance activities and prepare reports for Senior Management.
• Support FCA Compliance and regulatory change (including Consumer Duty).
• Oversee policy reviews, incident reporting, and remediation activities.
• Support third‑party risk management and operational resilience testing.

Our client is an industry leader in FinTech looking for a driven individual who can maintain and operate the company's risk management framework, enforce governance, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The role

• Monitor risk indicators, facilitate risk assessments, manage the risk register and ensure risks are regularly reviewed and updated
• Track actions resulting from risk reviews, audits, policy reviews, incidents, and more
• Identify emerging risks and elevate material risks to Senior Management
• Coordinate governance activities, track actions through to completion and prepare reports for Senior Management
• Support FCA Compliance and regulatory change, including Consumer Duty, conduct risk and data protection
• Oversee policy reviews, incident and breach reporting, control testing and remediation activities
• Support third-party risk management, supplier oversight, business continuity and operational resilience planning and testing

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Financial Services experience, including understanding of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty
