Risk & Finance Data Governance Analyst - AVP & VP needed!

Our client, one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, is seeking two talented Risk & Finance Data Governance Analysts to join their EMEA Data Office in London. Contract: 6 months with a strong possibility of extension
Daily Rate: From 450 (via Umbrella Company, depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, standard office hours, minimum 2 days in the office

Role Overview:
As a Risk & Finance Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the EMEA Division's BCBS239 Programme. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to ensure fit-for-purpose data and drive best practices across the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to educate and inspire stakeholders on the importance of effective data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor changes to business data requirements, support investigations of data quality issues, develop remediation plans, and engage with teams to communicate data-related business requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata, profiling, and analysis within a financial services environment.
- Familiarity with BCBS239 in Tier 1/Tier 2 banks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SQL, and data management tools (e.g., Collibra).
Experience:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to drive consensus.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, and exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate the above skills and experience in their CV to be considered.
