Risk and Control Lead – Authorised Business Communications

Join us at Barclays Business Banking as a Risk and Control Lead for Authorised Business Communications. This role focuses on managing compliance risks related to communication channels within the bank. You will be responsible for assessing, approving, and monitoring new and existing communication channels in accordance with established policies and risk management frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in compliance, surveillance technologies, risk management, and policy enforcement within financial services. Experience in governance, risk assessments, and stakeholder management is essential. This role can be based in Knutsford or Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with communication channels.
• Ensure compliance with policies governing communication tools and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve control effectiveness and report on risk assessments.
• Conduct reviews of internal controls and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Skills
