Risk and Compliance Solicitor - Bristol

Chadwick Nott have an exceptional opportunity with a Top 100 law firm who are seeking a skilled Associate Solicitor to join their expanding risk and compliance team in their central Bristol office. This role offers a chance to be integral to the firm's compliance and audit functions.

The Business Excellence team comprises eight professionals, including five solicitors, dedicated to risk and compliance. The work spans four core areas: compliance and audit; claims, complaints, and quality management; data protection and supply chain oversight; and firm-wide risk strategy, including business continuity planning.

As a key member of the team you can expect to act as the primary point of contact for compliance and risk matters, including Codes of Conduct (client care, conflicts, confidentiality, and information barriers), financial crime (such as anti-bribery, AML with sanctions and due diligence for high-risk third countries), limiting liability, supervision, and audits.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years PQE, with in-depth knowledge of AML, the Codes of Conduct, and the broader SRA framework.

Strong communication and drafting skills with an attention to detail are also essential.
