Job title: Risk and Compliance Senior Associate Solicitor

Location: Southampton

Salary: £77,000-£90,000

PQE Level: 5+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

This is a top opportunity to join a respected UK firm in a central compliance role, shaping risk strategy across the business.

As a Senior Associate in the team you'll lead on regulatory queries, breaches, internal audits, policy development, and business acceptance systems. You'll also support financial crime checks, sanctions due diligence, and eventually step into the Deputy MLRO role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years' PQE, with expertise in AML and SRA regulation
  • Strong judgement, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Collaborative, service-led approach to work
  • Confidence managing compliance processes and stakeholder relationships
