A fantastic law firm is seeking a Risk and Compliance Lawyer for their established team in Bristol. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, with a particular emphasis on contract management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and advise on client engagement terms and compliance with internal and external policies
  • Support business development initiatives from a risk perspective
  • Maintain and enhance compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
  • Deliver training and raise awareness of compliance issues
  • Provide legal research and advice on regulatory matters (e.g., SRA regulations)
  • Support internal audits and contribute to process improvements
  • Represent the team on internal projects and mentor junior colleagues

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified solicitor
  • Strong background in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
