We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the Sales team in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will provide a comprehensive support service within the Sales Team. You will manage your own workload, effectively manage a pipeline of property sales through to completion. You will be leasing effectively with relevant partners, stakeholders, in order to conduct fraud and anti-money laundering investigations.

Requirements

Outline of Key responsibilities for the Risk and Compliance Analyst...

  • Working closely with group departments, external solicitors and relevant third parties to complete the RTB/A sales through the application and conveyancing process.
  • Updating the Sales Manager to ensure they are kept up to date with the progression of applications, risks, and potential fraud through the relevant reporting channels. Completing reports and updates when requested by the Sales Manager.
  • Understanding legislation and funding criterion relating to the RTB/RTA scheme alongside protection of social housing. Taking responsibility in ensuring professional knowledge is current and implementing changes to procedures when applicable.
  • Managing the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire processes from tenants wishing to purchase their property, interviewing, instructing valuations and progressing the purchase through to completion whilst adhering to the HE guidelines and timescales whilst coordinating information for each application from different departments within the Together Housing Group.
  • Completing Anti-fraud and Money Laundering checks for each applicant, persons funding or included in the sale of each property. Undertaking ID and credit checks, identifying source of funds and challenging anomalies discovered. Understanding and keeping knowledge relevant of lending criterion, cash and other funding streams using a vast comprehension of various legal acts and enforcing these through the relevant processes and procedures.
  • Abiding by the codes of practice and guidelines as set out by the Government. Having a proactive approach to new processes and researching relevant guidelines and legislation for new practices and changes.

We are looking for someone who has…

  • Experience of working in a customer orientated environment.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer communication via all methods of correspondence.
  • Experience of residential sales or housing management
  • Knowledge of conveyancing/legal procedures
  • Relevant experience of working using anti-fraud or money laundering processes
  • Experience of working across various departments and stakeholders to deliver within a strict deadline
  • Able to work independently, managing own case load meeting all objectives and deadlines.
