Job Description:

Miryco Consultants are working with an established Lloyd’s of London Syndicate to hire an ambitious and detail-oriented Operational Risk Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework, with a focus on operational risk, resilience, and fostering a positive risk culture across the organization. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring the integration of risk management practices into daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the risk management framework, focusing on operational risk and resilience.
  2. Conduct risk assessments, including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes, to ensure risks are identified and effectively managed.
  3. Promote a positive risk culture throughout the organization by raising awareness and providing training.
  4. Collaborate with teams to support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of enterprise-wide risks.
  5. Monitor and report on risk indicators, escalating significant issues to senior leadership.
  6. Provide expertise on enterprise and operational risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong experience in general insurance and enterprise/operational risk management.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes.
  3. Proven ability to assess operational risks and support resilience initiatives.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to promote a positive risk culture.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and mitigate potential risks.
