We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst and Mitigation Plan Implementer with a strong orientation towards IT General Controls (ITGC) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing risks in business processes and with relation to information systems and technology infrastructure and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Identification: Utilize various methods such as risk assessments, scenario analysis, and trend analysis to identify potential risks.
2. Risk Analysis: Assess the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks on the organization's objectives, projects, and initiatives. Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate risk severity and prioritize mitigation efforts.
3. IT General Controls (ITGC) Compliance: Evaluate and ensure compliance with ITGC standards and regulations such as access controls, change management, data integrity, and segregation of duties.
4. Mitigation Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient and comprehensive mitigation tailored to specific risks. This may involve proposing process improvements by establishing automated controls within systems and defining scheduled reports that will highlight unreconciled data.
5. Mitigation Plan Implementation: Lead the implementation of mitigation plans by coordinating with relevant stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to established timelines.
6. Monitoring and Reporting: Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of implemented mitigation measures. Generate regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting key risk exposures, mitigation efforts, and emerging trends.
7. Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to risk management. Ensure that mitigation plans align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8. Continuous Maintenance and Improvement: Proactively verify that the risks are mitigated by the relevant controls and identify opportunities to enhance the organization's risk management processes and procedures. Recommend and implement improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, Information Systems, risk management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience of 3-5 years in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and implementation, with a focus on ITGC, preferably within a fintech company/systems-oriented environment.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and characterize appropriate reports for the purpose of performing controls.
4. Proficient with analytical tools/BI tools.
5. Ability to understand complex concepts and provide streamlined solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.

You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, interacting with cross-functional teams to address revenue and payroll-related risks. This role may require occasional travel for meetings, training, or audit purposes.
