The RAMP Analyst role involves driving AXA XL’s security risk posture, working with subject matter experts on various topics to assess if temporary exceptions to the Information Security Policy are acceptable. Strong communication skills are essential as the candidate will collaborate with global colleagues.
The Risk Analyst reports to the Head of IS Services and Risk Management. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the creation of RAMPs
- Ensuring proper formatting and completeness of RAMPs for smooth processing
- Communicating weekly on new or review-needed RAMPs
- Leading weekly RAMP Review Group meetings
- Maintaining records of RAMP decisions and statuses
- Managing the RAMPs register and tracking mitigation actions
- Ensuring timely risk acknowledgment processes
- Staying updated on policy changes to ensure accurate referencing in RAMPs
- Producing monthly risk reports for governance
- Promoting information security awareness within the business
Ideal candidates will have:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with at least 5 years of risk management experience
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively
- Experience articulating risks in business terms and advising on risk mitigation
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Experience in multinational environments
- Deep knowledge of risk management and frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST, ENISA, OCTAVE, FAIR)
- Knowledge of information security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27000 series)
- Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred
