Job summary

Formula One Management Limited is seeking a Junior Motion Graphics Designer to support the Creative team in designing and building dynamic motion graphics for broadcast and digital outputs. You will work under the Head of Creative Studio and Senior Motion Graphics Designer to produce engaging content across multiple formats.

The role requires at least one year of motion graphics experience, strong After Effects skills, and familiarity with 2D animation, tracking, and rotoscoping.

Qualifications

• At least one year of motion graphics design experience.
• Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Experience in 2D animation, camera tracking and rotoscoping.
• Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom.
• Ability to create scamps, storyboards and style frames.
• Proven ability to visualise creative concepts to an excellent standard.
• Solid understanding of design, layout and typography.
• Knowledge of Formula 1, both current and historical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and creation of exciting, dynamic and engaging graphics and treatments.
• Create 2D still and motion graphics to the instructions of the Senior Motion Graphics Designer.
• Work across broadcast content, corporate videos, digital/social and AV Screen installations.
• Adapt graphics for optimisation across Creative Studio projects.
• Collaborate with Producers and other designers to ensure content is technically sound.
• Stay current with high-end video production styles and industry trends.
• Ensure projects comply with brand guidelines and internal policies.
