Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a junior motion graphics designer to join our Creative team at Biggin Hill. Reporting to the Head of Creative Studio and Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will assist with the design and build of creative motion graphics.

You should have at least one year of motion graphics experience, strong knowledge of After Effects, and proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom. The role includes 2D animation, camera tracking, rotoscoping and storyboarding.

Qualifications

• At least one year of motion graphics design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and related Adobe apps.
• Ability to create scamps, storyboards and style frames.
• Understanding of design, layout and typography.
• Knowledge of Formula 1 history and branding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and creation of dynamic graphics and treatments.
• Create 2D stills and motion graphics per instruction.
• Work on broadcast content, corporate videos, digital/social & AV screens.
• Adapt graphics for a wide range of projects.
• Collaborate with Producers and other designers to ensure high quality.
• Keep up-to-date with high-end video production trends and brand guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with F1 policies and brand standards.
