The team

ITV manages a catalogue of 250,000+ hours of television programmes, feature films, and formats. The Rights Management department works closely with Production, Music, and Finance to manage rights data, supporting content licensing, exploitation, and re-use globally.

The role

The Rights Executive - Digital supports the Senior Rights Executive - Digital and Rights Manager - Digital in promoting ITV’s content exploitation by recording, maintaining rights data, and advising on rights availability and costs.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Interpret, input, and maintain rights information in ITV’s systems following policies and standards.
2. Assist sales and distribution teams with programme data and licenses.
3. Assess rights availability and provide clearance and cost information within deadlines.
4. Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure rights information flow.
5. Work with Talent and Royalty Payments teams, inputting rights data for payments.
6. Provide solutions for rights clearance and risk assessments.
7. Deliver services per SLA agreements.
8. Support development of new rights management technologies.
9. Negotiate rights clearances and renewals for secondary exploitation.
10. Assist in producing reports to meet ITV obligations.
11. Stay informed on rights and talent union issues.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):

• Experience interpreting complex legal data/documents (desirable).
• Experience with PARIS, Genersys, or similar rights management systems (desirable).
