Penguin Random House UK is seeking a Rights Assistant to support the rights team in selling translation, dramatization and North American rights for our authors. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with internal colleagues and connect with customers.

The Penguin Random House Rights teams help our authors go global. We work to sell PRH UK’s books into other markets and channels including North American rights: licensing our books to US and Canadian publishers for publication in North America.
Translation rights: selling rights to translate our UK titles into other languages.
Dramatisation rights: creating opportunities to turn our books into films, television programs and theatre productions.
As a Rights Assistant, you’ll take charge of a wide range of administrative and sales tasks to support a fast-paced team, as well as work on group-wide projects. You will manage several projects at any one time and work to deadlines that enable the team to deliver a high quality of service to our customers. You’ll work on rights projects for many of our leading authors and will liaise with a variety of internal colleagues as well as connecting with key customers.

For this role we expect the successful candidate to work from our London-based office three days per week, and offer the remaining two days to be worked remotely.
