Job summary

Mercury-Hampton-Ltd in Yorkshire is recruiting experienced Riggers to support major engineering and construction projects across the UK. This nationwide role offers long-term work, competitive rates, and opportunities on major industrial projects.

You will carry out rigging, lifting and installation activities, inspect equipment, and work closely with supervisors and crane operators. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Rigger.
• Experience in engineering, construction, energy or infra environments.
• Relevant rigging qualifications and certifications.
• Ability to read lift plans and method statements.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rigging, lifting and installation activities.
• Inspect lifting equipment and accessories.
• Work with lifting supervisors, crane operators and management teams.
• Follow lift plans, RAMS and site procedures.
• Assist with movement and positioning of heavy equipment and materials.
• Support project teams during installation and construction activities.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times.
• Ensure all lifting and rigging activities are completed safely and efficiently.
