Rigger
Location: Reading

Rigger for AWE Burghfield (Reading)
Duration 3 months
10 Day rotation (Tuesday to Thursday)
4 days off (Friday to Monday)
11.5 hours Monday to Thursday, 10 hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Attendance bonus
Taxable Rail and Travel Time Paid Bi-weekly
Taxable Lodge allowance
Roles and Reasonabilities
Ensure all platform or site rigging requirements are carried out in compliance with LOLER and Bilfinger / Client Lifting procedures and standards
Tasks may involve but not be limited to the following:
Interpreting and working to approved lifting plans and risk assessments.
The safe selection, deployment and operation of rigging and lifting equipment and accessories.
Ensure that all lifting equipment and accessories are fit for by carrying out a pre and post use inspection.
Undertaking load-moving operations using fixed and portable lifting equipment.
Developing lifting plans and risk assessments for lifting operations using fixed and portable lifting equipment as required.
Conducting and participating in Toolbox Talks and carrying out the role of Performing Authority as required.
Assume the role of Lifting Operations Leader as required
Qualifications
NVQ level 3 Moving loads or equivalent (Essential)
CSCS Card (Essential)
Must be able to obtain or hold current Security Clearance
