Job summary

Ride On Entertainment is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain and install children’s rides at shopping centres and retail locations across South East London, Essex and Kent.

This field-based role involves visiting approx. three to four sites daily, performing safety checks and basic repairs. Requirements include basic electrical/mechanical experience, a full UK driving licence and good customer-service skills. Salary £30,000-£33,000.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Confidence using hand tools and completing minor repairs.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to plan and manage a daily route.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining children’s rides.
• Finding faults and completing basic repairs.
• Cleaning and presenting equipment to a high standard.
• Ensuring rides are safe, secure and fully operational.
• Installing, relocating and removing equipment when required.
• Loading and unloading equipment from the company van.
• Managing workload and completing scheduled visits efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with retail-site teams.
