We are recruiting for a Rhino Modeller to join our fantastic Design Department in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with a move to Leeds in early 2025. As a Rhino Modeller at A Kahn Design, you will interpret the design team’s vision and translate 2D designs into 3D sketch models for initial concept approval. You will collaborate with the Automotive Design Manager, CEO, and the wider design team to deliver impactful models that drive project progress.

What You'll Do

• Develop exterior or alloy wheel models through sketch modelling to realize the design vision.
• Create high-quality digital sketch models in Rhino 3D for regular design reviews.
• Ensure design intent aligns with manufacturing feasibility and commercial needs.
• Communicate progress and issues to the Automotive Design Manager.
• Participate in design reviews and implement next steps.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of design standards and processes.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to explain concepts and convey technical design ideas clearly.
• Degree-level education, preferably with automotive experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and tooling requirements and their impact on design.
• Understanding of manufacturing limitations.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
• Good freehand sketching skills are desirable.
• Skills in additional 3D software are advantageous.
• Rendering skills in Keyshot or Blender are advantageous.
