NHS England seeks a Consultant with a strong interest in medical education to become the Training Programme Director for Rheumatology within the Thames Valley Local Office. The post entails leading the delivery of a wide-ranging training programme, aligning with NHS England mandates and the Head of School’s direction.

The role focuses on improving learner supervision, assessments, and experiences, while expanding multi-professional links and workforce transformation to deliver high-quality

Competenze

• Must have a primary clinical qualification and be registered to practise in the UK.
• Fellowship of a recognised professional body is desirable.
• Experience leading education and training in a medical context is essential.
• Knowledge of NHS education funding streams and governance is advantageous.

• Oversee the Regional Training Programme in Rheumatology.
• Lead specialty training, recruitment, progression, and multi-professional engagement.
