Job description

Overview

Role: RHEL Openshift SME (Cloud Pak for Data / CP4D) – 50% allocation, fully remote.

Location: Fully Remote

IR35 Status: Inside

Duration: End of October (initially)

Security: UK GOVT SC1 clearance required

Responsibilities

• BUILD a CP4D environment
• Install Cloud Pak for Data on OpenShift Cluster
• Install Watson X Discovery on CPD
• Install WatsonX Orchestrate on CPD
• Install databases on CPD

Activities

• The Cloud Pak for Data install consists of installing CPD on an OpenShift cluster on Oracle Cloud, with a namespace set up for Dev/Test.
• Kick-off to set expectations for the engagement and provide guidelines on timelines and effort.
• Collaborate with the Client to understand security requirements, user access, and identity and access management.
• Validate that OpenShift clusters on Oracle Cloud have the required capacity levels.
• Remote assessment to review prerequisites for deployment and installation readiness.
• Checkpoints to assess Client readiness to start installation.
• Installation and validation of one instance of WatsonX.ai components: Watson Studio, WatsonX Assistance, WatsonX Discovery, Watson Machine Learning, and watsonx.ai.
• Installation of WatsonX.Assistant, WatsonX.Discovery, and WatsonX.AI in the environments.
