Job Responsibilities
- Software coding and unit testing in line with technical design and functional specifications.
- Undertake technical design for functional specifications from Business Analysts.
- Development of Test Specifications and coordination of test activities with the test team.
- Provide operational and technical support documentation.
- Deliver software development within agreed time scales, with formal communication of any changes to the Manager/Project Leader.
- Communicate software development progress to Business colleagues, especially when taking a lead role (e.g., Work Requests).
- Liaise with business users and end customers.
- Maintain and enhance IT Systems to meet standards of performance, reliability, and resilience.
- Assist support teams in fault finding and problem resolution of existing IT Systems.
- Provide technical assistance and evaluation for new IT Systems.
- Contribute to IT projects, either as part of a team or as a team leader.
Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience in software development within a specialized area.
- Experience working in a structured development environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
