Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to support healthcare departments within secure environments in Liverpool on an ongoing, ad-hoc shift basis.

You will deliver high standards of clinical care, triage patients, administer medications and respond to emergencies within custodial settings. Requires NMC PIN, prison clearance, and DBS; minimum 6 months post-qualification experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NMC registration (PIN) is required for RGNs.
• DBS with Update Service is required.
• In-date prison clearance is required.

Responsibilities

We are urgently seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to support healthcare departments within secure environments in Liverpool on an ongoing, ad-hoc shift basis. As a Prison RGN, you will deliver high standards of clinical care, handle triage, administer medications, and respond to medical emergencies within a custodial setting.

Requirements

• Valid NMC registration with an active PIN (RGN)
• Essential: In-date, transferable prison clearance
• Essential: Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Minimum 6 months of post-qualification clinical experience (prison or secure environment background highly desirable)
• Reliability, resilience, and strong communication skills
