Job Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a Full Time RGN/ OHN Clinic Manager for a new outpatient clinic. The RN will work with support from a HCA/ Phlebotomist to support the GP and ANP in a corporate health center while managing clinic operations and workflow policies and procedures. The nurse will work in a primary care, preventive care, and urgent care capacity. This role is ideal for someone who loves to implement new ideas while providing high quality patient care and patient education.

RGN/ OHN Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Support GP and ANP with patient care.
  • Initial point of contact for patients, completing assessment and vital signs.
  • Specimen collections including phlebotomy.
  • Wound care and vaccine administration.
  • Maintenance of emergency equipment.

Clinic Operations & Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinic, including but not limited to: patient care delivery, inventory management, scheduling, policy & procedure implementation & management, and patient engagement (through educational content and events).
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings with VitalCheck & clinic staff, including documenting minutes and communicating concerns of the team.
  • Track and follow up on ongoing projects, coordinating deadlines, following up on action items, delegating tasks as appropriate.
  • Manage/approve PTO and Sick leave requests for clinic staff.
  • Manage schedule and attendance, ensure necessary coverage is arranged for team members on PTO.
  • Point of contact for all PRN staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered with the NMC.
  • Public Health Nursing - Occupational Health Nursing (SCPHN - OHN) training preferred.
  • Active BLS/ ALS or CPR certification.
  • Minimum 5-7 years nursing work experience in primary care/ urgent care setting.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
  • Highly organized; skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in technology including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must be a self-starter who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes while complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws.
  • Customer service-oriented and have great bedside manner.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to change.

Must be able to pass a background check and credit report review.
