Location: GL54, Nr Bourton-on-the-Water

Hourly Rate: £21.50 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts, day and night shifts available)

We are seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their compassionate and professional team. This is a hands-on, permanent role requiring someone with a strong work ethic, a caring disposition, and a passion for elderly care.

Registered General Nurse (RGN) Role:

As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their individual needs, wishes, and aspirations are met. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to personalise care plans, maintain accurate records, and promote a safe and supportive environment.

Registered General Nurse (RGN) Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly residents
  • Monitor, assess, and record residents' symptoms and changes in conditions
  • Maintain accurate reports and medical records
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all residents
  • Be a role model for staff and promote a positive, team-oriented workplace

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • NMC Pin Holder with at least 6 months post-qualification experience or a recent graduate
  • Previous experience in a similar adult care environment
  • Passionate about working with the elderly and committed to delivering outstanding care
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to commute or relocate to GL54, Nr Bourton-on-the-Water (own transport required)

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in elderly care or a care home setting
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
