Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Surrey is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Deputy Manager (RGN Qualified) at Purley Gardens Care Home. You will support the General Manager to run a compliant, person-centred home and lead a dedicated staff team.

NMC PIN and at least two years' management experience in a similar care setting are required, with strong leadership, communication and IT skills. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are also required.

• Proven leadership experience in a care environment.
• Strong communication and IT skills to manage records and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager to operate a compliant, person-centred care home.
• Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
• Ensure medication policies are followed and support reviews.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and supervise risk areas in the home.
