Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an RF Test Engineer to join a growing technology company based in Fareham. You’ll test, fault-find and validate RF electronic products through the production process, ensuring quality before delivery to government, defence and security clients worldwide.

You’ll work closely with the engineering and production teams on continuous improvement, using RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers and signal generators to drive robust test procedures and

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics or RF testing environment.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose RF electronic products.
• Hands-on practical engineering skills with test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test, fault-find and repair RF electronic products to board level.
• Carry out final system configuration and functional testing.
• Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analysers and signal generators.
• Validate and improve production test procedures and processes.
• Support mechanical and cable assembly activities when required.
• Assist with product kitting for internal and subcontract production.
• Work to agreed production schedules while maintaining quality.
