Octric Semiconductor seeks a hands-on RF/test engineer to own wafer-level test systems and develop reliable production capability at its Newcastle area facility. You will implement RF testing methods, support new products, and optimise test hardware and software, including LabVIEW-based tools.

• HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor device testing and volume semiconductor test engineering.
• LabVIEW programming experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain RF and DC wafer-level test systems, ensuring reliable production performance.
• Define and implement RF test methodologies (S-parameters, Noise Figure, Golden Wafer).
• Support new product introduction with Product Engineering and Production teams.
• Develop and optimise test hardware, software, and systems, including LabVIEW applications.
• Specify, procure and commission probe cards and test equipment.
• Analyse test data and produce wafer maps, SPC, correlations and reports.
• Diagnose and resolve production test issues and support Test Technicians.
• Carry out semiconductor device characterisation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and maintain test software, procedures, and equipment records.
• Provide training and technical support to production colleagues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe working culture.
