Join Our Client’s Cutting-Edge Team as an RF Test Engineer!

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a passionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking RF Test Engineer to join our client’s innovative team. If you enjoy working in a start-up environment and are enthusiastic about developing cutting-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define, design, implement, and maintain measurement/test solutions for link/modem validation.
2. Analyse calibration and metrology aspects, including statistical error analysis, confidence levels, and error budgets.
3. Develop modular, reusable software in Python (or similar languages) for various setups.
4. Troubleshoot and analyse link-performance issues.
5. Collaborate with DSP, hardware, and software teams to enhance system performance.

Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
2. 2+ years of experience with RF measurement and instrumentation.
3. 2+ years of programming experience using Python, LabVIEW, SQL, or Embedded C.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Baseband experience.

Preferred Experience:

1. Proficiency with Linux operating systems, VLANs, and network security.
2. Hands-on RF measurement experience with analysers, vector signal generators, power sensors, and network analysers.
3. Knowledge of physical-layer modem algorithms/standards (DVB-S2, CCSDS, SG NTN).
4. Experience with link-performance measurement (link/protocol testers, channel emulators).
5. Antenna range experience and OTA experiment design.
6. Statistical analysis and metrology expertise.
