Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd. in Chelmsford is seeking a Test and Applications Engineer to drive test plans for high-power RF products and provide expert application support. You will perform measurements, diagnose faults, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure robust product performance.

The role requires hands-on RF testing and strong communication skills to assist customers with integration and troubleshooting across advanced technology sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on RF testing and interpretation of measurement data are required.
• Strong analytical, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and carry out test plans for high-power RF products and systems.
• Conduct RF performance testing, measurements, fault diagnosis and failure analysis.
• Provide technical applications support to customers, resolving performance and integration queries.
• Work closely with design, manufacturing and quality teams during product development.
• Produce accurate technical documentation, test reports and application notes.
