ROLE: RF System Engineer
LOCATION: Edinburgh
DURATION: Permanent

As an RF System Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping advanced phased arrays. Responsibilities include system simulation, algorithm development, and crafting detailed specifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate precise system requirements aligned with customer needs
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  3. Design RF system board layout floorplans and strategies
  4. Lead board-level RF system integration and debugging
  5. Develop control algorithms for RF blocks
  6. Collaborate with Digital hardware and software teams for algorithm integration and validation
  7. Devise test and calibration strategies for array sub-assemblies

Qualifications, Experience:
  1. PhD or Master of Electrical Engineering
  2. RF and System Modeling expertise
  3. Algorithm creation for complex systems
  4. System integration, prototyping, and transfer to production

Desirable:
  1. PCB layout proficiency for complex systems
  2. Familiarity with link budget calculations
  3. Experience with simulation tools like Keysight SystemVue
  4. PhD or Masters in RF Systems or Communications Theory
