AVD Appoint Ltd is seeking an RF Platform Installation Engineer to join a Surrey-based engineering team. The role involves the installation, integration, inspection, commissioning, testing and acceptance support for sophisticated RF and electronic systems, with travel to client sites across the UK and potentially overseas.

The successful candidate will hold experience in RF systems, defence sector work, fault finding and commissioning, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Formación

• Experience with RF systems, Radio Communications, Electronic Surveillance, Electronic Warfare, Signal Intelligence or Tactical Data Links.
• Experience working within the Defence domain.
• Experience fault finding, troubleshooting, installing and/or commissioning RF / Electronic equipment and systems.

RF Platform Installation Engineer - Surrey - up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits - REF 2068

I am currently recruiting for a RF Platform Installation Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey. Salary up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

The organisation has been established for over 30 years and are renowned for the best at what they do within the defence and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing around 50 people, but turnover is over £20 million annually with that figure set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems.

To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they have the need to appoint an RF Platform Installation Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as an RF Platform Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, integration, inspection, commissioning, testing and acceptance support for a range of highly sophisticated RF /Electronic systems and equipment. This role will be at the HQ, however you will be travelling to various locations throughout the UK and potentially overseas from time to time to conduct the necessary activities and this could involve overnight stays where and when applicable.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience with RF systems, Radio Communications, Electronic Surveillance, Electronic Warfare, Signal Intelligence or Tactical Data Links
• Experience working within the Defence domain
• Experience fault finding, troubleshooting, installing and/or commissioning RF / Electronic equipment and systems
• Full UK driving Licence (Category B)

Desirable Requirements:

• SC Cleared or previously having been SC Cleared
• Previous experience working in the Navy, Air Force or Army
