Job summary

Forefront RF is seeking an experienced RF Lead Engineer to join our Cambridge team. You will lead RF design activities, own subsystem performance, and drive technical delivery across multiple projects.

You will mentor engineers, promote best practices, and collaborate with the System Architect and cross‑functional teams. You will translate requirements into detailed RF designs, run simulations and tests, and support manufacturing and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in RF/ electronics or physics.
• Strong hands-on RF design across relevant frequency ranges.
• Proven experience leading RF technical delivery on complex projects.
• Solid understanding of RF theory, measurements and implementation.
• Experience using RF simulation and design tools (ADS, AWR, CST, HFSS).
• Proficient with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Lead RF design activities across projects in line with system requirements.
• Own subsystem performance, implementation and delivery.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical approval for RF designs.
• Design, simulate, and validate RF circuits and subsystems (LNAs, PAs, filters).
• Translate requirements into detailed RF designs and support optimization.
• Define and execute RF test plans and verification activities.
