Filtronic is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Torr Vale Mill site in High Peak, part of a team delivering RF and microwave products from concept to production.

You will design lightweight, robust mechanical assemblies with thermal management, EMI shielding and manufacturability in mind, using SolidWorks and CAD tools. The role involves close collaboration with RF and electronics engineers to meet stringent high‑reliability requirements.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with high-frequency RF/mechanical design is a plus.
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing skills.
• Experience with thermal, EMI considerations and materials.
• Collaborative in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical design and development of RF module and system assemblies.
• Create lightweight, thermally efficient structures and enclosures.
• Perform thermal and structural analysis, ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with RF/electronics teams on tolerances and integration.
