Job summary

Modis is recruiting an RF EW Product Engineer for a long-term contract based in Stevenage or Bristol. You will work with the EW group and industrial partners to ensure delivery of configured hardware and validation evidence for RF electronic support/attack payloads, while meeting time, cost and quality constraints.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of RF and electronic systems (ES/EA).
• Ability to specify clear, accurate requirements for design teams.
• Experience with Design Authority and Customer communities.
• Management of technical status and progression of work packages.
• Define verification and validation strategies and key tests.
• Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule and tech requirements.
• Communicate technical information between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to a Design Lead or Chief Design Engineer and managing the development of the equipment's requirements.
• Ensuring flow down into the supply chain (internal or external).
• Specifying and collecting technical evidence through testing or analysis.
• Maintaining safe and secure integrity throughout the development cycle and into customer hands.
