Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support a defence client in Stevenage, on a 6-month contract (4 days per week onsite).

You will design, develop and maintain RF equipment for simulations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure accurate representation of missile behaviour. SC clearance requirement applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF design and testing.
• Proficiency in system performance analysis.
• Competence in interface debugging and system integration.
• Understanding of hardware/software design requirements.
• Knowledge of system design for real-time applications.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system.
• Knowledge of computer science, particularly C++ (advantageous).
• Experience with integrating microcontrollers into RF hardware (e.g. Raspberry Pi).

Security Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will be required to obtain SC clearance, with BPSS clearance to start. Additionally, the candidate must be eligible for UK Eyes-Only (UKEO) clearance.
