A leading company in defence technology is seeking skilled engineers in RF PCB design to tackle challenging projects. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and innovation, the role offers the chance to develop both technical skills and project management capabilities. Situated near Cambridge, the job is completely office-based, emphasizing collaboration and contribution to key projects in communications and RADAR.
This team of scientists and engineers work on cutting-edge defence projects using their combined skills in electronics, mechanics and software to solve challenges key to retaining the UKs position in the world. While projects are kept secret for good reason, you can expect to be working in areas such as communications, remote sensing and RADAR amongst others. With the face of warfare changing almost daily, this is both an exciting and challenging time to join.
You will be working in well-equipped office and laboratory space outside Cambridge in a work environment that empowers you from day one. Their flat corporate structure has resulted in a strong culture of teamwork and innovation within the company and provides many opportunities for career development, be that furthering your technical skills or developing project management and team leadership skills. You will also be expected to take a full part in client meetings and contribute to tendering processes for new projects.
Requirements:
While not strictly required, additional industrial experience in any of the following areas would be desirable: RADAR, communications, microwave RF, high speed digital PCBs, antenna design, DSP, electronics test, or scripting for test and modelling.
