Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to join our defence & high-technology engineering portfolio in Belfast. You will contribute to the design, development and validation of RF and mixed-signal electronics for demanding defence applications, taking practical ownership from schematic design to laboratory verification.

Qualifications

Experience in RF analogue and mixed-signal design.
Ability to design impedance-matching networks to system requirements.
Experience with transceiver architectures and RF front-end design.
Knowledge of lab verification using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop RF analogue and mixed-signal electronics for complex engineering systems.
Develop transceiver and RF front-end architectures using monolithic RF chipsets, including MMIC, SiP and SoC-style devices.
Design RF schematics, component selections and impedance-matching networks against defined system requirements.
Work with PCB layout engineers on signal integrity, grounding, shielding, routing and manufacturability.
Plan and execute laboratory verification using VNAs, spectrum analysers, RF signal generators, power meters and oscilloscopes.
