Job summary

IC Resources' client near Cambridge is developing advanced RF communications hardware for defence and aerospace, focusing on secure, resilient systems for demanding environments. The RF Communications Engineer will design and develop hardware across the full development cycle—from concept and architecture to circuit design, prototyping, integration and lab testing.

You'll work with antenna, signal processing, electronics and systems specialists, with access to dedicated RF labs, anechoic

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a related subject.
• Strong fundamentals in RF communications.
• Hands-on experience developing, testing and debugging RF circuits or systems.
• Experience with RF system simulation, antenna design or testing, and DSP is a plus.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop specialist communications hardware for defence and aerospace applications.
• Cover full development cycle from concept to testing.
• Work with antenna, signal processing, electronics and systems specialists.
• Build and debug RF hardware and investigate performance issues.
• Contribute to deployment of products in real-world environments.
