This essential and rewarding role encompasses developing new RF-based systems, researching new technologies, analyzing existing systems and vulnerabilities, and developing deployable RF applications. You can choose to specialize in one area or work across multiple domains.

Typically, the candidate will be involved in:

1. Undertaking detailed analysis of RF systems, including open source investigation, testing, measurement, and vulnerability analysis.
2. Reporting and recording investigations using standardized formats for further work by wider customer teams.
3. Designing and developing bespoke research tools for complex analysis.
4. Supporting the development of mission systems through lab-based testing and verification, with potential for field trial support.

The position is full-time, delivering cutting-edge solutions for both customers and Lockheed Martin enterprises.

Required skills, qualifications, and experience:

• Experience in at least one of the following: RF communications implementation/analysis, RF algorithm development and Digital Signal Processing, Embedded systems vulnerability analysis.

Knowledge and/or experience in the following would be beneficial:

• Real-time test and measurement using vector signal analyzers
• GnuRadio or OpenCPI
• Software-defined radios
• Python and/or C/C++
• Development on Linux and use of GitLab
